🗓ïļ How long will I live?

Estimating your lifespan is a key part of long term financial planning, especially for retirement. This calculator provides a quick estimate based on major health and lifestyle factors from large population studies. It starts with a baseline life expectancy and adjusts it based on your answers. This tool is for informational purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Most of us have our years numbered by the genes we were gifted. If you feel like your family history is particularly long-lived feel free to increase. 80.9 years is the average U.S. life expectancy for 2024, used as a starting point.

There are a couple things you can do to extend your years. Even more to shorten them!

Again, this tool is for informational purposes only and presents simplified averages from population level data. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Individual longevity is complex and influenced by many other factors including genetics, environment, and healthcare access.
